Athletic Achievements

Recently a few of our students have been competing at the Victorian State track and field championships. 

Zoe Ryan of Year 8 is now the state champion for Hammer, winning gold with a throw of 34.12m, and bronze in the Javelin. 

These results now qualify her for the nationals in Brisbane in April.

Eva Wilson also scored 1st for girls U18 Hammer with a new PB at 52.8m – this puts her 1st in Australia for her age and second in the U18 category.

Freya Wilson also came 3rd in U16 hammer with a  PB at 32.55.

Divisional Swimming

On Friday the 3rd of March, Viewbank College took 37 students to compete in the Divisional Swimming Carnival at Aquarena Doncaster. 

Narrowing missing out on taking the overall win to Eltham College. 

Almost all of our students will be progressing through to the Northern Metro Regional Swimming Carnival at Water Marc, on Wednesday the 29th of March.

2023 House Athletics Carnival 

The 2023 House Athletic Carnival was held on Wednesday 15th March!

Results of the day are still in the process of being calculated and will be announced soon.
