Year 11 Literature

Inter-school debate: Should classic literature be censored.

After media scrutiny on this issue on the works of Roahl Dahl, Where the wild things are, and even The Hungry Caterpillar children's books, Year 11 Literature students hosted a debate with Year 8I as the audience.

Year 8I was chosen to decide the winner and they were busily writing their own notes.

A great time was had by all and I hope in the future more cross year level debates are held on such significant topics.

Thank you to the Year 11 students:

Omar Mohamud, Reyna Laksita and Scout Miller (Affirmative)

Mia Andreou, Catherine Aing and Chakrika Polavarapu (Negative)

And all the students in 8I (you know who you are)
