Throughout the term, Dan Richardson has been teaching us all about rhythm and tempo during our weekly music sessions. We had a heap of fun this Wednesday creating a story and making music to it using xylophones. 

Dan kindly opens the music room each Wednesday during lunchtime for us to continue to explore our musical talents and we love the opportunity to have this extra time. Thanks Dan!

Yesterday, Charlotte from St John’s Ambulance Victoria – First Aid in Schools Program, visited us and told us about what we need to do in emergency. He shared a book about how Johnny Bear, used the Danger, Response and Send for help strategy, and we practiced what we would do if we ever needed to call 000. 

Your child has taken home a ‘My Important People’ card. Please take the time to fill this out together and share with your child how your family would react if ever there was an emergency in your home.
