Meet & Greet Interview Feedback

A very big thank-you to the 130 families that completed the Meet & Greet Feedback survey.  This survey provided an opportunity for the school community to give feedback about the effectiveness of Meet & Greet Interviews.  Your feedback is very valuable to us and allows us to continue to enhance our practices in order to meet the needs of all families.

The survey indicated that 92% of families found the Meet & Greet Interviews ‘very beneficial’ or ‘beneficial’, 80% of families prefer the interviews times from 3:00pm - 7:00pm and  80% of families indicated that they would prefer the Meet & Greet Interviews be held at about the same time next year.  The survey indicated that in addition to providing information about their child, families would also like more information about year level activities, information about their child’s academic progress, more information about home learning and more information about the curriculum. Most families found the opportunity to share information with the class teacher about their child very important. Several families suggested that we could offer an online Meet & Greet interview option for families or parents that were unable to attend face-to-face interviews.

This feedback will be a valuable source of information as we strive to continually improve our practices and will inform future decisions regarding the 2024 Meet & Greet Interviews.  Once again I would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the feedback survey as your feedback helps us achieve continuous school improvement.
