Our Taster Day At Nazareth

Grade 5’s ventured off to Nazareth College on Monday 6th March. A great day was had by all. 

Here are some  of our comments of our experiences of the day

We did Science, we made terrariums and played with electronics.

In Art we made FANTASTIC fans

In Food technology we made Chocolate truffles. Yum Yum. They were delicious

In Wood technology we made pencil holders out of wood. We used hammers,nails and clamps

In Textiles we tie dyed a shirt and used a sewing machine

We got to cook like Jamie Oliver

In sport we measured our leg stretches and timed how fast we could run in a 50 metre sprint

We played rob the nest and our team were the best stealers.

. 

We would highly recommend Nazareth as a Secondary school. 

We really got a Taste of what secondary school is like. It was warm, welcoming and friendly.
