Health Space

Some updates from our School Nurse, Prue:

• First Aid training took place this month. 9 extra staff are now fully qualified to administer first aid and give CPR as needed. Thanks to River Gum Primary School who gave us space to do this training due to electrical works happening at HPSC.

• Smile Squad plan to be back on site with their large mobile dental clinic to give the next stage of treatment to students. 

• Training in the management of Epilepsy takes place on the 31st of August to better equip our staff in the care of any students that have this condition. More information about the Seizure Smart School program can be found here.

Health Information Session:

On Thursday 8th September we are running a Health Information Session for any Dari speaking families here at HPSC. If you are interested in attending this information session, please contact our MEA Leader Rehana Ziyad at fathima.ziyad@education.vic.gov.au
