Student Wellbeing

Student Digital Help Seeking Form

Our help seeking data has improved over the last 12 months, however we want to continue to make this a focus for our students.

The two main reasons why students aren't asking for help at Holy Spirit are: "I feel embarrassed to ask for help around others" and "I'm unsure when is the best time to approach my teacher to talk to them". For these 2 reasons we hope that the digital help form can assist in taking away those 2 barriers currently in the way for some of our students. The responses will only be seen directly by the child's teacher.

Please encourage your child to seek help in person with anything they need assistance with (social, academic, etc.) as it is an integral life skill, particularly for mental health. The digital help form link is below, the students must be signed into their Google account:

House Cup and Activities

Be on the look out for our new House activities board which will be run by our House Captains. 4 House boards can now be found outside the 3/4 area. Here students can find announcements for year level activities which will be run during recess or lunchtimes by the House captains. for example this week we had a 1/2 disco in the Multimedia room. Every time a student attends one of the House activities they will score a point towards their House which will go towards a new initiative called the House Cup!

We have been exploring way to revamp and refresh our House spirit, we look forward to more exciting things with our houses over the next few months.
