World Youth Day 2023

World Youth Day, a gathering of young Catholics from around the world, will take place in Lisbon, Portugal in August next year. It is a time for the pilgrims to gather in worship and celebration, sharing in their faith and engaging in new connections.

Students who are currently in Years 9 and 10 are invited to be part of a group that St Patrick’s College will be sending. An email has been sent to those students and parents with the three possible itineraries and an expression of interest form to fill out by Monday 5 September (apologies for the tech problems with sending these emails).

Other older students and Old Boys are invited to look into travelling to World Youth Day with their parish groups or on their own. The actual event takes place from 1 to 6 August 2023 (during school time).

Like the one we hosted in Sydney and all the others that have gone before, this will be an amazing opportunity for all involved.
