Commiserations to the 13 B and 13 E teams who both lost to SPC teams. Special mention to Mr Fochesato (First XI Coach), Blake Timillero (First XI Captain) and all members of the First XI Football team who claimed the ISA Division 1 Football Shield with a 1–0 victory over Oakhill College.  All students represented the Blue, Black, Gold with distinction. Finally, well done to all members of the football fraternity who contributed to St Patrick’s College retaining the ISA Schools Championship Shield.

ISA Rugby

Well done to our First XV Rugby team for their victory over a strong St Gregory’s side, winning 37–24. Congratulations to Mr Fox (First XV Coach), Hayden Ling (First XV Captain) and the entire First XV team on their successful season, awarded ISA Runners-Up.

Summer Sport Trials

Earlier this week, you would have noticed that Summer Sport Trials schedules for Baseball, Basketball and Cricket were published via the new College App, as well as Team App.

I ask that all students trialling for a Summer sport be aware of their respective trial details. As we progress through trials for the Summer season, it will be evident that some students will be very pleased while others will be quite disappointed with their selection. I ask that you have a discussion with your son/s if this is the case.

Unfortunately, the College is only able to accommodate a certain number of teams for Basketball. As a result, some students will miss gaining selection to represent the College in Basketball for the 2022/2023 season.

Should you require any further information or have general questions, please contact the relevant MIC in the first instance or me:

Please note Swimming Squad sign-ups will occur later this term to coincide with the Swimming season set to commence at the beginning of Term 4.

Good Luck

On behalf of the College, I would like to pass on my congratulations to the St Patrick’s Old Boys’ Football Club for progressing through to this weekend’s NWSF (North West Sydney Football) Men’s Premier League Grand Final in Reserve Grade and First Grade competitions. We wish you all the best and should anyone wish to support the Old Boys, you are warmly invited to Christie Park this Saturday, with kick-off times at 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM respectively.
