Prep 2023 Enrolments

Over the next fortnight our Enrolments Officer, Robyn Miller and I will be finalising our Prep cohort for 2023. 

Our school is proudly a school of choice in the area.  As a result, once again we will enrol to our cohort capacity.  If you are yet to submit a sibling enrolment, or know of a new family that is yet to submit their enrolment, please share with them that the Department’s closing date for applications is Friday, August 12th.  Late applications of siblings or ‘in zone’ students may take us over our capacity and negatively affect our average class sizes, which we’d like to avoid.

Parent – Teacher – Student Conferences 

This week the school has partnered with parents and students to share learning progress and itemise the next steps in each student’s journey.  Thank you to our staff who gave up their own personal time to provide meeting times for families on Tuesday evening. 

New Industrial Agreement – Department of Education & Fair Work Commission 

This week the Department’s new Industrial Agreement with the Fair Work Commission commenced.  The new agreement has been the topic of media over the course of the negotiation period, with various initiatives and features included in the agreement that are aimed at enhancing educator productivity via workload relief.  How this looks at our school will be developed in consultation with staff in the coming weeks.

Reminder Assembly This Friday and Liam Sommers’ Farewell

A reminder this Friday at 2:40pm the school will gather in the Stadium to officially congratulate and farewell our school’s former Leading Teacher, Liam Sommers on his promotion to Assistant Principal of Rangeview Primary School. 

Attendees are reminded to wear a mask.
