Vale Olivia Newton-John - UHS alumnus 1964

You may have heard the sad news of the death of Olivia Newton-John, entertainer, actor, singer and philanthropist. Whilst many of you may remember Olivia's performances in films such as Grease and Xanadu, did you also know that she was an alumnus of University High School? 

Our records indicate that Olivia attended the school for two years, graduating in 1964. 

During that time she demonstrated her dramatic talents. Above are some artefacts of her time here - a review of a school production; and a charming interview in which she describes The Beatles as "sweet, but nothing to go to pieces over". The UHS school community joins others in expressing our sincere condolences to her family and loved ones on their loss.
