NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL TEAM

It’s hard to believe we’re already well into Term 4! It’s been a busy but fantastic start to the term, with students and staff alike showing great energy and enthusiasm as we head towards the end of the year. There’s a lot happening across the school, and it’s wonderful to see so many of our students getting involved both in and out of the classroom.
This term, we’ve seen incredible participation in our lunchtime clubs. From sport and music to art, robotics, and wellbeing groups, there’s something for everyone. We encourage students to continue making the most of these opportunities, as they’re a great way to connect with others, build skills, and have fun.
Our Year 8/9 Camp is fast approaching, which will be running from November 17th – 19th. Both students and staff are buzzing with excitement as we prepare for our first official school camp. It promises to be an amazing experience filled with teamwork, adventure, and lifelong memories.
Meanwhile, our Year 8 Japanese students are eagerly anticipating their Japanese Excursion on November 14th. After the success of last semester’s trip, we know this will be another engaging and educational day that deepens students’ understanding of Japanese culture and language.
We’re also looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 2026 students for Transition Day on December 9th. This is always a highlight of the year — a wonderful opportunity for our incoming students to get a feel for the school, meet teachers and classmates, and begin their journey with us.
Our Year 9 students are now turning their attention to end-of-year exams. It’s an important time for them to begin revising, managing their study time, and preparing for assessments. We’re proud of how our Year 9 cohort is stepping up and showing maturity as they prepare to transition into senior school next year. It’s an exciting chapter ahead, and we can already see their leadership and independence growing.
Sport continues to be a big part of life here at school. Our teams have shown great spirit and sportsmanship across a range of competitions this term. Whether on the field, court, or track, our students have displayed determination, teamwork, and pride in representing our school.
It’s been a full and rewarding start to Term 4, and I’m incredibly proud of the way our students continue to engage, grow, and contribute to our school community. Thank you to all staff, students, and families for your ongoing support - it truly makes a difference.
