Years 1 and 2
Wow! This term has certainly flown by and it is hard to believe we are almost at the end of Term 3.
Students are continuing to work hard and demonstrate terrific 5 L's of Learning in classes.
We enjoyed watching the School Production Shrek the Musical JR. yesterday and are excited to attend the production of St Patricks's Tongala on Monday. How lucky are we getting to watch two productions?
Next week we also have our end of Term Assembly on Wednesday at 10.00am in the Brigidine Centre. It would be wonderful to see parents and carers come along to enjoy a snapshot of our wonderful learning. We will be presenting our learning about procedural texts and it is going to be a hoot!

As part of our creation unit in RE, we have enjoyed exploring God's creations in our world by having a walk around the school grounds and the Year 1 classes were lucky enough to check out Mrs Reed's worm farm.
In Art, students have finished working on print making and are now experimenting with water colours. Using their knowledge of primary and secondary colours, students have created their own cities.
After our initial volcano day was washed out with some much-needed rain, we had a lovely sunny afternoon to follow some procedure writing to make our volcanos. We needed to read the title, the list of required materials and follow the steps to create and watch an exploding volcano in the sandpit.
