Welcome Lance!
We are excited to welcome Lance Davis to our School Wellbeing Team. With extensive experience in youth development, mental health and community services, and qualifications in Community Services and Workplace Coaching, Lance is passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where students can thrive. He has worked as a Youth Coach in the Detour Program, delivered Teen Mental Health First Aid training and previously led youth programs across Greater Shepparton and Moira Shire. We’re thrilled to have him on board to support our students and families. If you see him around the school, please take a moment to make Lance feel welcome.
2025 National Child Protection Week: 7 – 13 September
This year’s Child Protection Week theme is 'Every conversation matters: shifting conversation to action'. At St Augustine’s College Kyabram, we are committed to creating safe, supportive spaces for children and young people. This Child Protection Week, we’re reminded that every conversation has the power to protect, encourage and heal. The documentary Seen - The Film, is a moving reminder of how being truly present with our children – even for just a few minutes – can change their sense of safety and belonging. We encourage all parents and carers to watch Seen - The Film and reflect on how the simple act of listening can shape a child’s future. Together, let’s turn our conversations into lasting action.
Why Attendance Matters
Regular school attendance is essential for student learning, wellbeing and success. Every lesson builds on the last, and missing time in class can make it harder for students to stay on track. While we understand that some absences are unavoidable, appointments should be scheduled outside school hours wherever possible as they are not considered an approved reason for missing school. Let's work together to help our students make the most of every learning opportunity.
