From the Principal

Spring has arrived and with it a renewed sense of energy and growth across our College community. Term 3 has been another busy and vibrant chapter in the life of St Augustine’s, filled with learning, celebration and connection. From excursions, camps and career days to sporting events, our students have embraced every opportunity to engage, discover and grow.
This term has also been marked by some wonderful whole-school events that highlight the strength of our community spirit. Science Week and Book Week sparked creativity and curiosity in our classrooms, while our College Production of Shrek The Musical JR. this week has showcased the incredible talents and teamwork of our students and staff. We gathered in faith and joy for our St Augustine’s Feast Day Mass and family picnic, stood in remembrance and gratitude at the Lone Pine Ceremony and enjoyed the warmth of community at both our Beaut Blokes Breakfast/Footy Colours Day and Father’s Day Liturgy. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed - it is your presence that makes these events so meaningful.
Behind the scenes, teachers have once again worked tirelessly to ensure rich learning opportunities for every student. I ask that we continue to show respect and understanding in our interactions, recognising the commitment of staff and the importance of working together in partnership. Respecting school processes and policies helps us to create the best possible environment for positive outcomes for all.
We were also delighted to receive terrific feedback from Catholic Education Sandhurst in the recent pulse check, particularly regarding the implementation of Magnify. It is heartening to see this initiative bearing real fruit in student learning and engagement and we look forward to building on this momentum.
As we close Term 3, I thank you for the way you continue to contribute to the life of our school. The joy, energy and support from families are what makes St Augustine’s College such a connected and vibrant community. I wish you all a safe and restful holiday break and look forward to all that awaits us in Term 4.
Kind regards,
Tim Campbell
