RUOK WEEK 2025

A Celebration of Connection, Care and Community
RUOK Week at our school was a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of mental wellbeing, kindness, and connection. Kicking off with a cheerful “Touch of Yellow” theme, students and staff embraced the spirit with painted nails, stress dolls, and happy face stickers—small but meaningful reminders to check in with one another.
Monday brought a burst of energy with slime making, elastics, and ball games, creating a playful and inclusive atmosphere. The slime-making proved so popular it continued into Wednesday, giving everyone a chance to get creative and have a little “Shoosh and Squish time”.
On Tuesday, during Pastoral, the entire school was treated to a sweet surprise: 1,000 RUOK cupcakes lovingly baked the night before by the tireless team at NCCA. Their late-night baking session was a testament to the care and dedication behind the scenes.
RUOK Day is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a reminder that asking “Are you OK?” should be part of our everyday conversations.
The themes of RUOK Day—connection, listening without judgment, encouraging action, and checking in regularly—were beautifully reflected throughout the week’s activities.
A huge thank you to Gill Coyle, Nurse Mel, Jerry Penny, Caitlin Mackay, Jackie Kol, and the NCCA for their incredible work and commitment to making RUOK Week a meaningful and memorable experience for all.
Let’s keep the conversation going—because RUOK is every day.
