Nomination 1: Lachie for working so hard on your non-fiction text on Australian animals. I love how you marked the phonograms in your sentences, like writing a 4 above the ‘a’ in water to show its fourth sound.

Nomination 1: Maya for reading and sharing your Big Book of Aussie Animals so confidently with teachers, parents and other students! It was lovely to see how proud you were of your work. Your plasticine Box Jellyfish was also amazing! Well done, Maya!

Nomination 2: Jason for a brilliant narrative. You have worked incredibly hard on your Chapter Book,  thoughtfully planning each chapter, using the writing process. You also drew some fantastic illustrations to bring your story to life. A mini author in the making. Well done!

Nomination 1: Eric for his incredible creativity and precision in making origami army tanks. Eric demonstrated patience, focus, and impressive attention to detail as he carefully folded each piece with accuracy. His work showed true craftsmanship and creativity, leaving others inspired by what can be achieved with paper and imagination. Well done, Eric, on sharing your talent and dedication with us all!

 

Nomination 2: Artin for the confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm he showed during the Bizarre Bazaar. Artin used excellent customer relations, greeting customers warmly, answering questions politely, and encouraging them to explore what he had to offer. Well done, Artin, on showing such fantastic teamwork, communication, and entrepreneurial spirit!

Nomination 1: Kathy - for her dedicated and committed approach to her group in the Bizarre Bazaar. Your focus and creativity enabled your group to have great success. 

 

Nomination 2:  Clive - for working so hard to ensure the Bizarre Bazaar was a success. He was committed to manning his stall and used sales techniques to keep the customers happy.

Indonesian 

 

Nomination 1: Cohen (3C) - For helping your classmates to finish their Indonesian emblem ‘Pancasila’ and always showing great participation when learning Indonesian. Bagus, Cohen!

 

Nomination 2: Herody (6C) - For finishing your Indonesian Emblem beautifully and being such a respectful responsible learner during Indonesian. Keep it up, Herody!

EAL

Nomination 1: William 5B - for working hard on the worded problems and explaining to others in the group.

 

Nomination 2: Lian 2C - for having a fantastic first term at GRPS and always trying his best.

Visual Arts 

 

 

Nomination 1: David  (4A) for doing an amazing job of making your dragon hat as part of your production costume. You took care to present a really effective artwork. 

 

Nomination 2: Oscar  (4A) for your creative dragon hat design. You added your own touches which were very effective. Well done.

Science & Technology

 

 

Nomination 1: Delly Prep C - for always listening and answering questions enthusiastically using brilliant manners. Keep up the great work!
