Aussie of the Month

Congratulations to our September Aussie of the Month James Davidson

Congratulations to our September Aussie of the Month James Davidson.

Aussie of the Month is awarded to a student each month that demonstrates the qualities of fairness, mateship, respect and inclusion.

James is “someone who is known for his kindness and compassion with his peers. He is the first to invite someone new to join a conversation and also he is first to ask his mates to quiet down so others can be heard.

Whether James is in the classroom or in the yard he is often sought after for his insights on friendship fires and has skills to help his  peers talk it out and even solve friendship fires before they kindle into a flame.

He is not only well liked by his peers but well received by the teachers at this school. Always asking about your weekend and genuinely interested in your response as he shares some new adventure he has been lucky enough to be on.”

At GRPS we believe it is important to acknowledge students that are actively contributing to our community in a positive way and are consistently

demonstrating our school values of respect, responsibility and a learner.
