Term 3 Showcase

At the end of last term we had our learning showcase were students showed off their incredible work. Thank you to all the families that came through and not only supported your own child, but all the other students across the school. Some of the work that was on display included a snapshot diorama about an event that helped to shape Australia's history, an information report about a person who helped shape Australia's history, Fruits of the Holy Spirit poster and letters to Ma'am.

Science Works Excursion

Seha- I really liked the sports centre with all different movement related activities, particularly the race track. It was so fun to do it with my friends and other people. One thing I learned w that when you put a balloon in liquid nitrogen, the balloon contracts.

Marc- At Science Works I learned that in the future we will be having different food. I enjoyed going to Science Works and learning about the future and making your own cars that are good for the environment.

Victoria- My favourite thing about going to Science Works was going into a soundproof room where we could experiment with different sounds and lighting. I enjoyed learning about how sound can affect your mood.

Joanah- What I liked about Science Works was that there was a lot to explore and there were interactive activities about the future. What I really loved the most was the sound room, where there were all sorts of noises. What I learnt was that liquid nitrogen is very cold and when put on bubbles it becomes a solid. But everything was great at science work and there was so much to learn and see there.
