Newsletter Changes

Please note that after discussing the statistics at school council around the number of hits our newsletters actually get from families, we have decided to do two newsletters per term which we hope that you can all get to open and have a good read of what has been happening in the various sections of our school.

I will send one out in the first and last week of term to refresh the term calendar for you and then provide you with some important information.

We need your help!

Please read our School Council page to find out how you can help PVNPS get some environmental facility upgrades by signing our parliamentary petition.

STOPWORK ACTION - Wednesday 6th May

Unfortunatley there has been no success in negiations between the AEU and the Department of Education for our agreement.

Therefore we have another stopwork day on Wednesday 6th May.

  • This is a half day stopwork which means there will be no classes for teachers stopping work from 9am-12.38pm.
  • Students will be able to attend school from 12.40 to 3.15pm.
  • It is understandable that students will not attend for the entire day.
  • All students absent on this day will not be marked as absent as this is not of parent choice.

Teachers not stopping work will be confirmed asap and therefore these students are able to come toschool for the entire day.

Theircare

We have had a change of Co-Ordinator in Theircare. This has taken sometime to get a new leader in this poistion after amy left to be Area Manager.

Hopefully, in our next Neewsletter I will have an update and a profile for you of Grace.

Thank you to the parents who have provided communications and feedback.
