MSA, MSD, JSK & JSL Excursion to Hamer Hall

On Monday 27th April, students from MSA, MSD, JSK and JSL attended an exciting live performance by The 60 Four at Hamer Hall, located within the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne.
The performance showcased the biggest hits of the 1960s, reimagined with a contemporary sound and delivered with exceptional showmanship. Known as one of South Australia’s premier acts, The 60 Four captivated the audience with their slick choreography, youthful charm, and outstanding four-part harmonies. Their smart suits and polished stage presence brought the golden era of music to life in a high-energy, electric tribute that had everyone thoroughly engaged.
Students and staff were treated to a vibrant mix of classic hits, all performed with precision and enthusiasm. The combination of strong vocals and dynamic movement made for a truly memorable visual and musical experience.
A highlight of the excursion was the special Q&A session at the end of the performance. Students had the opportunity to interact with the performers and gain insight into their musical journey. A particularly special moment was when the group sang “Happy Birthday” to Dallas from MSA, which brought smiles to everyone and added a personal touch to the day.
This excursion provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience live performance in a renowned venue, enhancing their appreciation for music, performance, and the arts.
A big thank you to all staff who attended and supported the excursion, and a special shout out to Mary for attending her very first Emerson School excursion - what a fantastic introduction it was!
