| Hi, my name is Lucas Italiano and I am happy to be representing the school as one of the 2024 school captains. I have been a student at St Carlos since prep and it has so far been the best experience ever. Some of my hobbies that I love to do are sports, such as AFL and basketball. I also appreciate spending quality time with family and friends. Subjects that I take pride and enjoyment in, like many others, are PE and maths. I have always desired to represent the school. I applied for this role because I want to contribute my thoughts and ideas to make the school a better and secure place for everyone. I also would like to be a great role model to other students at St Carlo’s, and I would hope that younger students will take my lead in wanting to make a change at school! I am looking forward to being there for anyone in need, attending meetings to give my advice and help sort out any concerns or issues. Lastly, I will be wearing the school captain badge with passion, respect and pride. As this is my last year at St Carlo’s, I would like to make sure the school is kept in a good manner and improving more and more as the years go by. I hope that all students will be happy to not just be at this school, but also have the willingness to represent this school with excitement and joy! I have been a student at St Carlo's since prep and I have met some amazing people and I have made many friends throughout the years. Some of my hobbies are playing basketball and spending as much time as I can with family and friends. I love all subjects in school but the ones that I admire the most are Maths and PE. I’ve always had the passion to be a leader so being able to be this years school caption has meant to world to me, I always have the urge to help someone even for the smallest things, and I love to hear other people's ideas and thing they have to say while sharing mine at the same time, I would also love to put a lot of passion for being a great role model towards the rest of the school and towards the younger students, hoping that they can take the lead role wanting to make changes to the world and to have the passion to do anything! Lastly, this being my last year at St Carlo’s I want to have a positive impact on the school and it’s future generations, I want this year to be a year full of joy and excitement with more opportunities. I hope all the students at this school will have the pride and passion to represent St Carlo’s with joy and passion, and I can’t wait to see what this year brings us! | Hi my name is Bianca Bazouni, and I am St Carlo Borromeo, Ministry captain for 2024. I have been at the astonishing school for 6 years this being my 7th. I can’t wait to continue my journey at St Carlo and go through the year 6 journey with all of my peers. A bit about myself and some of my hobbies are playing basketball, netball and I have been quite into soccer recently. Last year I would always look up to the year 6s as a guide and ask lots of questions about what year 6 would be like and what changes there are. Now the year has finally come we’re I get to be in their shoes. Some of my favourite subjects are Religion and maths. Lots of people ask me what inspired me to be a leader and I like to tell them that since prep I have always liked being a leader for eg: class captain. I remember always being so excited to wear a badge and show it off. Then year five came where I knew going into year 6 and having a role as a leader was no joke, it was much more than a badge. I had to be a leader and show the school that I was responsible. All the year 6s from 2023 showed me that I had to take being a leader seriously but also have a lot of fun. Ever since prep I have watched leaders at our school role-model what a true leader is. Being a ministry captain my change is to make religion a more included and fun subject with young kids. Hello! My name is Lyla De Luca and I’m your 2024 Social Justice Captain! I have been a part of this school community since grade prep, I have made so many friends during my time at this school. My hobbies are Singing, Dancing, Cheer and Writing. My favourite subject is Writing! I love making stories and sharing them with my classmates. The two things that inspired me to become a leader are; 1: Looking up and following the year 2023 leaders and 2: I wanted to be a leader for our school instead of being a captain of my classroom. I’m really looking forward to helping out with events, helping the school, working with my other captain friends and to plan really fun days for school like: Casual Clothes Day, bring back Pyjama day again and do book week again before my days at St. Carlo came to an end! | Greetings, my name is Nalani, and I’m your new 2024 performing arts captain. If you’re not familiar with me then I can tell you some facts about me. I do tap dancing, and I love to draw, but my true passion is singing and acting. Honestly I wouldn't say I am the best dancer, but I do have some moves, and this year I want to help people not only get better at singing, acting, and dancing but help boost their confidence as well. It takes bravery and skill to go and perform in front of other people, trust me when I say that. I’m also happy and a little sad I’m leaving St Carlos, as I’ve made lots of great and unforgettable memories, some good some bad mostly good. I’m excited for: the new opportunities, being a leader at this school, spending time with friends, and working with Olivia. | Hi! My name’s Olivia Ferguson and I’m the 2024 Performing Arts Co-Captain. I started school at St Carlo’s when I was 5, which makes this my 7th year here. I’ve developed many different hobbies over my time, including a love for reading, drawing, dancing and singing. I’m also sporty, and love to play netball. My favourite subjects at school are maths and well-being, as well as performing arts, art and sport. I was inspired to become the Performing Arts Captain because I love performing and I’ve been in the choir since I could (year 3). I’ve always felt naturally drawn to performing arts and I’m looking forward to so many different opportunities this role brings with it, as well as having a fun and memorable year as the Performing Arts Captain with Nalani.

| Hi! My name is Noah Albano and I am your new 2024 ICT Captain! I have been at St Carlos since 2018 which is almost 7 years. My hobbies are playing with friends on my PS5, meeting up with family and I like to play in my squad for tennis. My favourite subject is sport, spelling and inquiry. When we started to write our speeches I could remember all the times I have helped people ever since Year 2 and some teachers saying I could be the next ICT Captain leader. When I got the role I thought if we could make some changes to the school like have more cyberbullying lessons and have more technology incursions or excursions. This is my last year at ST Carlos so I am looking forward to making the best year possible in 2024! | Hi my name is Joshua Ventura and I am very excited to be one of the 2024 ICT captains. I have been at St Carlos since prep and it has been great! While I love computers and technology (don't we all!), I also love playing soccer, PlayStation (especially FC 24), catching up with friends, family and playing with my beautiful dog Darcy. My favourite school subjects are sport, maths and stem. I applied for this role because I've always looked up to the past student leaders of our wonderful school! As one of the ICT captains I would like to raise awareness that everyone should be cybersafe. Also, I wanted to be able to assist with the setup of technology in assemblies, and help with digital technology in the classroom. I hope to be a very valuable leader at St Carlo’s! Hello my name is Isabella Savvidis and I am Citrine (Gold) House Captain for 2024! This is my 7th year at St Carlos which means I have been here since 2018! A few of my hobbies are running, art and sports. My favourite subject in school is sport because it's fun and keeps you active and fit. I love to keep active and stay fit because I believe it is very good for your wellbeing. I have always dreamed of being House Captain since prep, it has always inspired me to help others and to never give up and keep passionate! I've made heaps of friends even including teachers! My hobbies is playing HEAPS of basketball 6 days a week! Hanging with my friends and enjoying time with my dogs Maple and Quinn! At School my favourite subjects are writing and of course, having the thrill of Sport!! Ever since I came to St Carlo I wanted a role at this school, well as soon as I found out! I also noticed that St Carlo leaders are so resilient and persistent and they are great role models and I wanna show these dispositions!As a leader I'm looking forward to sharing sport days such as Gala Day, Cross Country and many more to come! | Hi my name is Amelia Camuglia and I am your ruby (red) house captain for 2024! I have been at St Carlos since prep and it has been fantastic. In my spare time I like sport, running, calling and hanging out with my friends and I also like to play with my loveable dog Blacky. At school my favourite subject is sport because it is a good way of keeping you brain and body fit. This has been a dream since prep to become a captain. I wanted this role because I want to support and encourage people to do their best and I also want to help teachers with planning of events and helping them run them. I am looking forward to having a memorable and enjoyable last year at St Carlos. | Hello my name is Levi Schembri and I am the ruby (red) house captain for 2024! I play soccer as well because my favourite sport is soccer. I also have a bird named Silky, but he's kind of annoying because he only chirps all day, but I still love him. Hi there! My name is Ava Bugeja and I am honoured to be your Emerald (Green) house captain for 2024! Ever since I heard all about the leadership roles I knew I wanted to set my heart on getting Green house captain, so I am so happy for this opportunity. I decided to apply for this role because of all the opportunities I get to have and sharing ideas and thoughts, especially to make lots of fun at sports events. My hobbies are playing sports, going shopping, spending time with family and friends and my favourite is going to many AFL games and screaming in the crowd with my cousins for the tigers. My favourite subject at school is definitely sport but I also enjoy writing. I have enjoyed every minute at this school since 2018 and I hope to have the best, most fun and memorable last year here at St Carlos. I can’t wait for all the fun sport events coming up like cross country and athletics, I will encourage you all to keep going and to try your best, GO GREEN TEAM!
