GOOD LUCK TO OUR DIVISION SWIMMERS!

 We wish both Teddy S (4D) and Lachie H (6T) all the very best for tomorrow when they head to Oakleigh pool to participate in the Beachside Division Swimming carnival.  We know they’ll give it their all and represent our school to the best of their abilities!  Many thanks to their parents for taking them to this event.

WHOLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The big countdown is on for our first whole school sporting carnival for the year!

We have exactly two weeks to go until all students will participate in our Andrew Lesiniewski House Athletics Carnival.  This year all students will travel by bus to Duncan MacKinnon Reserve Athletics track in Murrumbeena.

Thank you to the families that have already read and accepted the Operoo permission email for this day.  We ask if this can be done as soon as possible to ensure everyone is all set for this fun day of team-spirit and sporting activities.

P&F Colour Run: Fri. 4th April @ Dendy Park Athletics oval

Year 3-6 Inter-House Cross Country:  Thursday 24th April, 9.30am - 12pm, Dendy Park

District Cross Country: Thursday 1st May (respective students), Bald Hill Park

Winter Sport (Year 5&6 students): Round 1, Friday 2nd May

Junior (Yr. 3&4) HoopTime: Tuesday 20th May, Waverley Stadium

Senior (Yr 5&6) HoopTime: Monday 30th June, Waverley Stadium

YEAR 5&6 WINTER SPORT 

Inter-School Football/Netball Program

Begins: Friday 2nd May - Week 1, Term 2. 

Next term all Year 5&6 students will participate in our Dendy Winter Sport Inter-School Football and Netball competition.  Students will travel to other local schools and venues to play either netball or football over a number of Friday afternoons during term 2.   Next week at school, all Year 5&6 students will submit their sport preference and teams will be finalised, ready for Friday of Week 1, Term 2. We ask parents to chat with their child at home to support them in their decision of which sport to play.  Please look out for an Operoo permission email with further information over the next few weeks.  

PARENT HELP REQUEST:  weekly support for bus supervision & umpires: 

To assist with this program, we’d love the support from any parents/adults that are able to assist with either umpiring or support with travel on the bus.  A formal request document with dates will go out by the end of term 2. If you are able to assist on any of the scheduled Winter Sport dates, please contact Tania:
