YEAR 7 & 9 NAPLAN TESTING 2025
Dear Parents and Carers of Year 7 and 9 students
The 2025 NAPLAN testing schedule is as follows:
Writing - Wednesday 12th March
Reading and Conventions of Language - Thursday 13th March
Numeracy - Friday 14th March
Please ensure your children are present, on time and prepared for testing on these days.
The NAPLAN window is open until Monday 24th March, so catch up testing will be done for students that are ill and absent from school on the official testing days.
What do students need to bring to the test?
- Charged laptop – all tests are online
- Headphones (disposable headphones are available for students that do not have their own)
- Pencil (for completing working out on paper if required)
- Book/novel to read if tests are finished early.
Students do not require a calculator as this is built into the NAPLAN online platform.
It is the school’s expectation that all students participate in the NAPLAN testing, however support adjustments have been organised for some students.
