STUDENT LEADERSHIP NEWS

With International Women's Day being celebrated on March 8th, our school leaders Evie Rau, Chloe McKay, Fern Knight and Emily Costa, accompanied by Assistant Principal Ms Godde and House Leader Bu Maddy, participated in the annual International Women's Day breakfast organised by Soroptimists International.

The 2025 theme for this special day being 'for ALL women and girls: rights, equality and empowerment'. 

Central to this vision is empowering the next generation—youth, particularly young women and adolescent girls—as catalysts for lasting change. 

At BHS, we are committed to this vision. 

Soroptimists International’s mission is to advocate for human rights and gender equality, working on local projects that help women and girls achieve their individual and collective potential, realise aspirations and have an equal voice in communities worldwide.
