Level 2

 Wow! We have been VERY busy in Level 2.

Swimming

Our Grade 2 students took part in the annual swimming program! Over the five days, students developed their confidence and water safety skills through a variety of fun and engaging lessons. They practised floating, kicking, and stroke techniques, while also learning important safety rules for being around water. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces, growing confidence, and supportive classmates cheering each other on.

Big Day In

We had an absolute blast at our Big Day In! The day was filled with exciting camp-style activities. Level 2 students enjoyed biscuit decorating, outdoor games, “Minute to Win It” challenges and finished the day with a magician! A tasty barbecue lunch and free dress day made the experience even more special.

Classroom learning

We have been exploring a variety of Maths concepts and revising our mathematical knowledge! Shapes, maps, fractions... you name it, we've done it!

In Reading, it has been fun investigating different books. We have used our comprehension skills to understand books, and we have looked at different ways authors write so that we can better our narrative writing. Level 2 will start writing narratives this week!
