Level 6
We're a great mix in Level 6!
By the time you are reading this, the Level 6s will be on their final primary school camp!!
We cannot believe how quick the term is flying!
Thank you to the parents who have volunteered their time to support the Level 6 teachers in setting up for Graduation. This event couldn't happen without the support of our wonderful families and we thank those who are able and willing to lend a helping hand. The Level 6 teachers will be in contact with those parents in the coming weeks to organise finer details.
Recently the Level 6s were lucky enough to participate in a Golf Clinic. Students participated in various round robin golf activities that helped them learn the basic skills required to hit a golf ball. It was loads of fun and the kids had a blast!

The Level 6 scrapbooks are well underway. It has been wonderful to see all the celebrations of learning from the past 7 years that the students have been reminiscing on. To help with scrapbooks, parents may like to chat with their child about what they did in each year level, to help the students remember certain events. There's certainly lots to remember!
In Reading, we have been continuing our novel studies. The students have been enjoying reading a new book for the term and being with a new group to discuss the book. Ask your child about it and hear what they have to say! Would they recommend the book to anyone?
Reading for pleasure
We encourage all students to be reading at least 10-15 minutes at home. Helping your child foster a love for reading is not only important for their literacy skills, but also their creative skills! It can help them broaden their imagination and think critically about what they're reading. If your child is struggling to know what to read, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher to ask for some recommendations.
In Maths, we have been focussing on financial literacy. In recent weeks the students have been exploring budgets and have attempted to plan a large event for a group of people. Students have also explored how to work out percentage discounts and inflation percentages. It has been great to see students making real-world connections with this learning.
