2026 Foundation Orientation Day

We had a fantastic opportunity earlier this week to welcome our new Foundation students at the first of three orientation days at Brooklyn Park campus.

Students and their families had a great time learning more about the new phase of their children, seeing their classes, meeting new friends, and building connections.

Students were also introduced to their teachers and took a tour of their classes to get a taste of what the upcoming school year will be like.

Remembrance Day Service

Students, staff, and families gathered for a thoughtful Remembrance Day Assembly.

The morning began with a time of worship, followed by heartfelt speeches reflecting on the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served our country.

Across our campus, students and staff had been busy colouring their own poppies in preparation for this important day. Together, they created a beautiful wreath of poppies, which was laid as a symbol of remembrance.

The assembly concluded with the Ode of Remembrance and a pause of a minute of silence, to reflect on the sacrifice and service of those who have defended our country.

Year 6 student leaders had the opportunity to participate in the Remembrance Day service at West Torrens Memorial Gardens.

Year 2 Sleepover

On the Friday of week 4, the Year 2 students enjoyed their first ever school sleepover. 41 students returned to school in the evening for one night of pizza, 'Minute to Win It' games, scavenger hunt, connection and a lot of fun.

Each sleeping in their own beautiful teepee and 'indoor fireplace'. Both students and teachers enjoyed this special time, and for many students, it was their first night away from home.

A lot of bravery was displayed (by parents and students alike!). When asked what their favourite part of the sleepover was, most students shared that it was getting to spend time together with friends. It was a blast!

Year 6 students visit Lighthouse City Mission

Year 6 students recently enjoyed a meaningful, hands-on experience at the Lighthouse City Mission Centre. They prepared small meals, packaged them with essential items such as additional food, clothes, and toys, and helped ensure these care bags would reach those in need. It was a wonderful day of service and compassion, and the joy on our students’ faces reflected just how rewarding it was to serve and help those who are in need.

Let's always remember what our Lord Jesus Christ said: "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me." Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV)
