First Aid

End of year important reminders
We would like to extend our gratitude to parents for their collaboration with us in caring for and supporting the students throughout this year. Your understanding and support with school requirements and policies help us ensure that students’ needs are met to the highest possible standard.
Collection of Medications
As the conclusion of the 2025 school year is rapidly approaching, we advise parents that we do not store student medications here at the College over the long school holiday period.
Please collect your medicationsn from First Aid before the end of the school term. This is particularly relevant to Senior School Students at this point as they complete their school year before the official end of Term.
Updating Care Plans
Medication Plans, Asthma Care Plans, and other Healthcare Plans need to be updated annually and whenever there is a change in a student's care needs. The school holidays are an ideal time to arrange this, ready for the 2026 school year.
Medication Plans and Asthma Care Plans can be downloaded from the College website or you can collect a blank form from the First Aid Officers. If you have any questions, please contact one of the First Aid Officers.
Returning borrowed clothes
If your child has borrowed clothes from the First Aid Room, please ensure they are returned.
Update to Medication Plan Procedures - Coming in 2026
We’re updating our Medication Plan forms to make the process simpler for families. Currently, families complete separate plans for over-the-counter and prescription medications, with the prescription form requiring a GP or specialist to complete it.
From 2026, there will be two updated forms: a General Medication Plan (for over-the-counter and prescription medications, completed by a parent) and a Medication Plan for Controlled (S8) Medications (for example, Ritalin, Artige), which still requires a GP signature.
All plans will be renewed each school year to ensure records stay current. More information and the new forms will be shared in a letter sent home in the coming weeks.
Thank you,
From the First Aid Team
