Greater Western Hot Shots Competition
Well done to our boys who competed in the Greater Western Hot Shots competition last week at the Elliminyt tennis courts. What a mixed day of weather; we had three bouts of hail storms, high winds, torrential rain and beautiful sunshine. The tennis players did very well, coping with the “on and off the court” process. St Josephs Primary school and Buninyong Primary School were the overall winners on the day, and will now progress to state. A big thank you to Anna McGennisken and Zoe Beckett and the Elliminyt Tennis Club for allowing us to use such a fantastic venue at last minute notice. We are very grateful for your help.
Greater Western T-20 Cricket Competition
We wish the Sacred Heart T-20 Cricket team all the best when they compete in the Greater Western T-20 Cricket tomorrow in Ballarat. A reminder to parents that the bus will leave Sacred Heart (gym carpark) at 7:15am and return at approximately 4:30pm. Parents/guardians are invited to travel on the bus at a cost of $20.00. Cricketers are to pay $10.00. Can this be paid at the school office or on the day to Kate Tomkins?
Boys will need to wear their sports uniform and school hat. They will also need their drink bottle, fruit, snacks and lunch. Please make sure that sunscreen is applied before arriving at school. Good luck boys.
