RSC Long Course Meet Photos

Melbourne's weather certainly wasn’t our friend, but that didn’t stop our club from putting on another fantastic swim meet!

A huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who made the day possible. So much work happens behind the scenes, but it’s the volunteers on the ground who make everything run so smoothly on the day.

A special shoutout to our incredible team outside on the BBQ, Raffle, and Medals — you really did it tough in that weather but never stopped smiling! It was amazing to see some of our senior swimmers and even ex-swimmers volunteering their time to help — true club spirit! 

Thank you also to Miek, our Meet Manager wizard, for keeping Meet Mobile up to date and accommodating all the last-minute heat changes (and those unlucky missed races!) with such calm and efficiency.

Shoutout to Sean for being such a fantastic announcer — you kept the energy up all day!

To our timekeepers, thank you for your assistance — it’s truly the best seat in the house, and we hope you enjoyed it.

A big thank you as well to Coaches Ava, Brendan, and Carlos for supporting our swimmers throughout the day — providing race plans, feedback, and encouragement to help every swimmer perform their best. Thanks to Coach Bayley for popping in in the afternoon to support the club as well!

It was also a proud day for RSC to have two of our club partners brave the weather to support us. Thank you to the teams from Thrive Sports Medicine and Grill’d Eastland for their fantastic setup outside and the fun, interactive activities that kept everyone smiling despite the rain.

And to our swimmers — you were all amazing and should be so proud! What a great start to a short Long Course season.

We can’t wait to do it all again in a few weeks at our Twilight Sprint Meet on Sunday 16th November! 

Entries are now open on Swim Central, and all RSC swimmers are encouraged to enter. It’s just the four 50s, making it a perfect meet for swimmers of all levels.
