Uniforms

Now is a great time to place an order to ensure your items arrive in time for Sprints and States!
This will be our last special order for the year for Arena, making it a perfect opportunity to purchase gifts for Christmas.
If you would like to order a race suit, specific goggles, training bathers, or other items from Arena, please:
- Check that the item is in stock on the Arena website — if it is out of stock, we are unfortunately unable to order it.
- Send a picture of the item, your sizing details, and your swimmer’s name to uniform@ringwoodswimmingclub.org.au by Wednesday, 5th November.
- Payment details will be emailed to you once the order is confirmed.
- Once the stock arrives, a pickup time will be arranged.
Our club receives a significant discount from Arena, making this a great opportunity for families. Once the order is placed, it usually takes a couple of weeks for the items to arrive.
Our Uniform Officer is Kay. Kay will be handling the ordering and maintenance of our stock, as well as the special orders from Arena (four times per year).
Mei will be available from 4:30pm–5:30pm, starting Tuesday, 11th November.
Kay is in the clubrooms on the following days: Mondays between 4:45pm-6:15pm and Tuesday between 5:15pm-6:30pm. Sometimes during these times, Kay may be running assessments, so we ask that you be patient if a family is already in the clubrooms for an assessment.
Jackie will also be available this Saturday from 8:30am–9:00am and again from 9:30am–10:00am to help with any purchases.
There is some stock of uniform items in the clubroom, however orders may still need to be placed for a full uniform set or certain sizes. Please contact our Uniform Officer Kay with any uniform or equipment queries at uniform@ringwoodswimmingclub.org.au
You also have the option of purchasing uniforms on our club website.

Washing Instructions for RSC Polos
If you have the time, hand washing your uniform allows you to ensure that your kit is cleaned thoroughly.
Many of the steps for hand washing your uniform is the same as putting it in the washing machine, such as preparing your uniform for washing and how you air dry it:
● Flip your teamwear inside out, so the badges and applications are protected.
● Fill up a tub with slightly warm water and a few pumps of colour-safe detergent and soak your teamwear for 10-15 minutes.
● For extra dirty uniforms, use your hands to remove any stains or marks. Squeeze the uniform and swirl the water around it to ensure the whole kit is cleaned.
● Rinse your uniform using clean water to remove any soap remnants.
● Gently wring it to get rid of excess water.
● Hang it out to air dry after flipping it back to the right side.
If we have the time, it is best to hand wash our jerseys. These easy steps to clean your teamwear can also be used for shorts, jackets, off-field apparel and socks. Following this care guide will have your Nike Teamwear looking and feeling brand new after each wash.
Before placing your teamwear in the washing machine, turn it inside out to protect any patches, logos and stitching from abrasion.
Use cold water in your washing cycle to prevent your teamwear’s graphics from fading, shrinking or getting damaged by heat.
We recommend not using a tumble dryer as the high levels of heat may melt the decals and badges on your teamwear. Instead, air dry your jersey not in direct sun or heat to help prolong it’s life. If you want to be extra careful, another tip is to shield your uniform from the sun’s direct heat by covering it with a thin fabric.
