Principal's Message

Public Education Week
This week is Public Education Week, an annual celebration of NSW public education and the achievements of our schools, teachers, and students.
We have taken this opportunity to acknowledge our exceptional staff, celebrate the achievements of our students and recognise why we proudly choose public education, where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
101 Days of School
What a wonderful day celebrating 101 Days of School!
Our students had a fantastic time dressing up in our 101 Dalmatians theme and taking part in a range of exciting activities. It was lovely to see their creativity, smiles and enthusiasm as we celebrated 101 days of learning, friendship and growth at Rockley Public School in 2026.
Police Visit
Today we welcomed Constable Joyce to Rockley Public School for important safety talks with both classes. These sessions supported students to strengthen their understanding of personal safety, respectful behaviour and how to seek help when needed. They also encouraged students to make safe and responsible choices at school, in the community and online.
K–1 participated in the Keep Me Safe session, while Years 3–6 explored Bullying and Cyber Safety. We greatly appreciate Constable Joyce taking the time to visit our school and share these important safety messages with our students.
Student Code of Conduct
This week, I introduced the new NSW Public Schools Student Code of Conduct to our students and parents at assembly. Students discussed what it means to be respectful and responsible at school each day, and how their actions help contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.
The Student Code of Conduct applies to all NSW public school students. It applies to all school activities, both on and off the school site, including online, and guides how students conduct themselves with other students, teachers, school staff and community members.
Teachers will continue to refer to the Student Code of Conduct throughout Terms 3 and 4 so that all students have a clear understanding of the expectations and the positive behaviours that support a safe, respectful and inclusive school.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our school. I look forward to celebrating the many achievements of our students as we move through the term
Warm regards,
Principal
