See PAM for details.
Our Grade 6 camp to Melbourne will run from Wednesday 25th November to Friday 27th November. This camp is run by DOXA, an organisation who facilitate camp experiences. More information to come.
At the same time, our Grade 5 students will be involved in a combination of local excursions and school-based activities.
There will also be several events in Term 4 for our Grade 6 students, e.g. Graduation Mass, breakfast, Big Day Out etc. These dates are being finalised and will be communicated over the coming weeks.
Thanks to the students who have been completing their spelling and maths homework and reading each night. This will continue across the term.
On the 29th of July, 11 grade 6 boys from St. Liborius headed out to the Red Energy Arena to play a netball tournament against other schools. Thanks to Miss Wick’s coaching and the glorious result of multiple “tryout sessions,” the boys won four of their six matches. We won an extra match due to Boort PS forfeiting, giving us a total of five matches won!
One of the most amazing things was that the behaviour was exemplary! Even throughout the difficult conditions and a “questionable” referee decision, the boys kept their cool and did not lash out and were extremely well-behaved.
Teams that the boys played include Eppalock PS which we unfortunately lost to, East Loddon who we easily defeated in the first game we played against them, Creek Street School, which we lost to by five goals.
Thanks Miss Wicks for coaching the boys' team to multiple victories. We appreciate the effort and time you have given up giving us a fun day! ALSO, A BIG THANKS to Mrs. Lawrence for coaching the Girls’ team. They had a good and fun time thanks to your coaching. THANKS to Mr. L and Mr. Walsh for organising the whole team and setting up the roster so we could all play sport outside of school. We appreciate the effort and time you have put into this.

On Wednesday, the Year 6 boys and girls travelled to Red Energy Arena to compete in the Winter Sports competition against lots of different schools.
Everyone tried their best and gave 100% effort in every game. We had lots of fun playing, supporting our teammates and showing great sportsmanship to the other teams.
Whether we won or lost, everyone represented St Liborius really well by showing compassion, humility and respect throughout the day. It was great to see everyone encouraging each other and never giving up.
A big thank you to Mr Walsh, Ms Lawrence, Miss Wicks and Ms Davies for giving up their time to come along and support us. We would also like to say a special thank you to Mr Ledwidge for organising the day and giving us the opportunity to represent our school.
