P&C Meetings

The P&C usually meet on the first Monday of each month from 5.00pm at the school. Everyone is welcome to come along!

P&C Executive Committee changes

The P&C AGM was held this week and we had the opportunity to thank our long serving outgoing Executive Members and select our incoming committee for the next 12 months. A huge thank you and acknowledgement to committee members who are leaving roles: Jen Philp, President; Beth Platford, Secretary; and Rose Miller, Treasurer. Their contributions and leadership have been so valuable and much appreciated by our school community. There are indeed big shoes to fill and our new committee members are keen to learn the ropes and continue the work of supporting our wonderful school and students.

 

The new P&C Executive Committee are as follows:

President - Erica Peterson, who is transitioning from her VP role

2x Vice Presidents: Stef Cook is continuing on in her VP role, and Casey Te Whiu is also joining

Secretary: Ali Nathan

Treasurer: Peta Swilks

 

Additional roles allocated include:

Canteen Convenor - Ali Nathan

Uniform Convenor - Helen Kirkaldy

 

We look forward to working together with the teachers, parents, students and community to raise funds and contribute to experiences that benefit our school community.

 

Uniform Shop Update

Uniforms are available for purchase from the office as usual, however we need to be able to verify the receipt of any online payments before the uniform items are taken home. We realise making online payments on the spot can be made difficult by the poor mobile internet reception onsite at school, so this may need to be a payment made online at home and then the uniform items collected the next school day or whenever payment has been verified as received. Once parents have transferred the required payment, please send a screen shot of the payment confirmation to our Uniform Convenor, Helen, on 0400 303 984 so that this can be confirmed before taking uniform items from the office.

 

Return and Earn App

Rocky River P&C is registered as a charity with the Return and Earn app, so when you return your recyclables to the Return Point you have the option to donate your earnings to Rocky River P&C. If you would like to donate this way, it does need to be set up on the app and selected as your payout method before you start your recycling session. This is also a great idea for grandparents or extended family members who might want to contribute to your child’s school fundraising, as anyone in any location can select Rocky River P&C as their donation payout destination. Our closest Return Point is at Uralla Bowling Club.

Next Meeting

Our next General Meeting is in Term 2, on Monday 5th May at 5pm. All parents and community members are welcome to attend and we’d love to see you there. We hope you enjoy the holiday break and stay safe in your travels.

Uniforms

School polo shirts, jumpers and jackets are available through the P&C.  Order forms are available from the school office, the Audiri App and the attachment below.  

 

We still have some long sleeve shirts available for $10 each in sizes 4, 12, 14, 16 and S.

 

There are also a large number of pre-loved uniform items available at the school office at $5 per item.
