District and Western Sport Trials
In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.
Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level.
When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date.
Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school.
Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter.
Upcoming school and district trial information
Boys District PSSA Touch Football
Boys interested in attending the Bathurst District PSSA Touch Football Trials are asked to see Mrs White by Friday afternoon. School Trials will be held on Monday 24th March during Break 1.
Boys selected to attend the trials will be required to attend the Touch Football Gala Day on Friday 28th March from 12.30pm at Learmonth Park. Mrs White will meet the boys at the oval on Friday.
Upcoming Western Trial information
Rugby 7's : Girls- Trials for the Western Region Rugby 7's team will be held on 21st March in Wellington. Notes will be handed out this week for girls interested. Don't forget to return to the office by the due date.
Hockey: Boys and girls interested in trialling for the Western Region Hockey Team can collect notes from Mrs Francis in Week 8. Trials will be held in Bathurst on Wednesday 26th March from 9.30am - 2.00pm.
Netball: Boys interested in trialling for the Boys Western Plains Netball Team (combined private/public team can collect notes from Mrs Francis in Week 8. Trials will be held in Orange on 21st May.
Students will be notified of this information in the mornings, when teachers make Sentral announcements.

Our next training session will be held on Tuesday 25th March during Break 1 and Thursday 27th March duringBreak 2.
The Touch Football Gala day is scheduled for Friday 28th March. Permission notes for the Gala Day have been sent out through the Parent Portal.
Cricket Team
We are currently preparing for our 2nd round of the PSSA Knockout Competition. Our next game will be held on Tuesday 25th March against Bathurst South PS. Good luck to pour team and Mr Thackray.
