Principal's message

And just like that - Term 1 is complete!
Once again, everyone is commenting how fast Term One has gone. As such, this is a good opportunity to thank everyone for the smooth and calm start to the year. Starting school for the first time or transitioning to a different year level can be daunting and sometimes difficult for students. We end of each year with a Transition Program and then start each year with a ‘Starting Right Program,’ which is designed to smoothe out certain worries and give every student the best chance of success. I think we have achieved this success to date!
Facilities
Families are welcome to use our school facilities after school hours, but please note that this is done ‘at your own risk.’ We do not supervise playgrounds or monitor recreational spaces outside of school hours, so if you do come on site, please do!
Works over the holidays
We have a number of works taking place these holidays as we continue to upgrade our beautiful school and grounds. These works will be completed by both our wonderful family volunteers and contractors. Works being completed;
- new staff carpark
- new shed
- new dishwasher installation
- corridor carpet removal
- Picture frames being hung
- Paver upgrade
School Council
We recently held our School Council elections however still have one position available as a Community Member open. If you would like to be part or would like to nominate someone to be part of our School Council, nominations are currently open for this position from now until the Friday of the first week back (Friday, April 25th).
From our Yr6 students
Dear families,
Thank you for supporting us Year Sixes in our Zooper Dooper fundraiser for Term 1.
It has been very successful so far. We have raised $300 this term. We look forward to running it again in Term 4.
Next term, Term 2, we will be running a toasted sandwich fundraiser.
More info will be supplied in the first issue of the term 2 newsletter !
