ART

Prep and Year 1s 

Our junior students have found their groove in the art room and are showing excellent school values and creative flare. Over the next weeks the junior classes will be exploring pastels and developing ways to use them to create different visual effects. During our first few sessions we have focused on oil pastels and developing our colour blending technique.

2/3s

The Year 2/3s continue to exemplify our school values in the art room and are creating interesting art pieces. Throughout term 2 they will be exploring and developing their pencil skills and processes to use graphite to achieve desired visual effects. Over the course of the term, they will apply a range of pencil techniques to create individual and unique artworks. 

4/5s and 6s

Our 4/5 and 6 students continue to work on developing their learning behaviours in the art room and set exemplary examples for the rest of the school. Throughout term 2 they will be exploring pastels and develop projects to showcase the mediums potential, as well as solidifying techniques to manipulate and create desired visual impacts.
