From the Principal
Another Busy week here at school, lots of learning and fun has been shared by all. A huge thank you to all the parents who helped students with correct uniform today for school photo day, 100% of students were wearing sports uniform and we only had a couple of blue socks, instead of white socks. Pretty great result. I said to the students if we could get 90% we would have a free icy pole day next Friday. Fair to say, the icy poles are on Mr Mc
On Tuesday we are hosting the MACS Videographer who will document on film some of the hard work that goes on in our classrooms, as well as some interviews with myself, Danielle and Belinda. It is a testament to all of us that our school has been chosen for this project. Students who do not have video permission for MACS promotional materials will not be filmed.
Thanks to Mrs Janky and Mrs Munro for supporting our school leaders at the Catholic Education Week Mass at St Patrick's Cathedral last Friday. It is always a busy day but a wonderful experience for the students.
Just a reminder to families that Term 1 finishes on Friday, April 4th and Term 2 will being on Tuesday, 22nd of April. Please also note that the school will be closed on Friday 25th of April for the ANZAC Day Public Holiday

Project Compassion:
During the season of Lent our school is once again supporting Project Compassion, there is more information in the video below about some of the amazing work carried out by the wonderful organisation that is Caritas Australia. Families can add small donations to the money boxes (as shown in the picture below) which are around the school, including in each classroom.
Teeth on Wheels (23rd of April):
Teeth On Wheels will be visiting our School for dental check-ups starting on April 23rd 2025.
We understand that dental visits can feel intimidating for children, which is why Teeth On Wheels makes oral health education both fun and engaging. When children enjoy their experience with the dentist, it sets a foundation for positive oral health habits that last a lifetime. Fun, hands-on activities help children develop good habits like regular brushing, flossing, and understanding the importance of healthy teeth. This enjoyable approach not only reduces fear but empowers children to take ownership of their oral health. By creating a positive experience at an early age, we are setting the stage for healthier smiles and stronger habits throughout their life.
To ensure your child is part of this visit, please complete the consent form by clicking the link below:

The cut-off date for completing your child’s form is April 17th 2025.
