Middle Sub School News

Amelia Frantz  -  Middle Sub School Leader

Hello families and carers,

We have come to the end of Term 1. Students have worked incredibly hard on their learning this term achieving many successes. It has been great to see students continuing to work on skills across all areas and persist with their learning.  In Week 10, JSA celebrated Autism Awareness Week and House Colours Day. To do so, students participated in the circus skills incursion. This was an opportunity to have new experiences and try different activities. It was fantastic to see so many students proudly wearing their house colours. On Friday students had the opportunity to share their Easter hat creations in the parade.

Looking ahead, swimming will occur in Week 3 of Term 2. Please let your classroom teacher know if you can support your child at the pool.

Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals will be distributed today. I would like to acknowledge the work of teachers in creating these goals.

Thank you to the teaching teams and families for continuing to support the students during Term 1. Enjoy the term break.

Please reach out anytime,

Amelia

Room 14

Room 14 has had lots of fun in Term 1.  They have enjoyed playing outside in the yard, counting and addition games, reading fun books in the library, playing with friends, going to the Yaluk building and playing cricket in the playground. In Kitchen Garden, students enjoyed making wraps and helping to look after the garden. We will miss Alex. Well done on a fantastic Term 1 room 14!
