Primary Sub-School News

Michelle Davies - Primary Sub School Leader

Dear Primary Families

As we come to the close of Term 1, we want to take a moment to reflect on all the wonderful progress our students have made. It's been a term full of growth, learning, and special moments, and we are incredibly proud of the resilience, enthusiasm, and determination shown by each of our students.

This term, we've focused on phonics in Literacy as well counting, length, mass, capacity, area and volume in Numeracy.  It has been amazing to see our students making progress towards and achieving their goals.  Whether it's mastering a new skill, developing social connections, or overcoming challenges, every step forward is a reason to celebrate.

We’ve also enjoyed a variety of activities within Art and Music, with art projects, music sessions, and outdoor learning all playing a key role in enriching our students’ experiences. It's clear that these activities have had a positive impact on their confidence and sense of belonging within our school community.

As always, we would like to express our gratitude to you, our parents, for your continued support. Your involvement is vital in helping our students thrive, and we look forward to working together in the new term to achieve even more success.

Wishing you a restful break!

Warm regards

Michelle

Room 5

A warm welcome to Term 1 from Room 5! Our students are settling into their routines beautifully. It’s been a great start as we’ve introduced new activities and routines that provide structure and comfort. Each day, we focus on building a positive and supportive learning environment. The students are adjusting well to their schedules and see them engage in English and Maths. Whether it’s working on social skills, asking for help, or taking time for quiet moments, each student is growing at their own pace and gaining confidence. We’re excited about the many opportunities this year will bring, and we look forward to collaborating with families to support each student’s journey.
