Grade 3 & 4
Term 1 - Week 8
When the beauty of a learning day can be captured with these wonderful, inclusive photos, it's a great day.
As you can see our four maths groups are engaging the students through games, daily reviews, lessons that cater for the levels and needs of each of our students. We were all learning to tell the time using analogue and digital clocks, working out duration of time, am and pm worded problems - some very challenging problems... We are learning that we 'Need to experience challenge in maths, to learn strategies to problem solve'.
This week we're moving on to multiplication and division as our topic.
We are proud to see most students handing in their weekly homework and spelling tasks as well as their reader journals.
Some students have it as their own personal learning goal to 'Try really hard' to read every night and write it (can be themselves) in their reader folders. Keep up the great work kids.
We look forward to seeing you all in your odd socks this Friday to support, 'World Down Syndrome Day' and 'Harmony Day'.
Let's cheer loud for our good little sports kids at the School Sports next, Friday 28th(Week 9)
