Student Leadership 2025

Exciting Leadership Opportunities for 2025!
This year, we are proud to have selected two leadership teams at Ridgeview School. Providing leadership opportunities ensures that our students experience the same chances for growth and responsibility as they would in a larger school. It also allows them to develop valuable leadership skills, contribute to school life, and have a voice in how our school operates.
Our student leaders will have opportunities to:
🌟 Help organise school events and initiatives
🌟 Represent the student voice in decision-making
🌟 Support younger students as role models and mentors
🌟 Lead assemblies and special celebrations
🌟 Assist with school-wide responsibilities such as road patrol, sports coordination, and environmental projects
🌟 Work alongside teachers and staff to improve our school community
In addition to our leadership team, we also have a Peer Mediator group. These students will be trained in restorative conversations, helping to resolve small issues and support their peers in finding peaceful solutions during playtime. This gives our students an important role in maintaining a positive and respectful playground environment.
Leadership and mediation are fantastic ways for our students to build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and take pride in their contributions to the school.
We are excited to see them grow in their roles this year!
