Bell and Elle

Students have continued to impress us over Term 1 building on a wide range of paper sculpting, weaving and fine motor skills. They have demonstrated their new learnings to great effect, creating everything from a collaborative school of fish, buzzing bees, 3D strip weavings, and whole cities.

Below we have shared with you just a few of the fantastic creations made by the students at AHPS. We look forward to sharing the 5/6 final Term projects in our next Newsletter update.

Prep

Our prep students have been working hard to build their knowledge of 2D shapes and shape attributes such as the number of sides and corners. They have continued to develop their application of line and pattern, showing growing improvement in the composition of their artworks and use of a range of mediums such as pencil, oil pastel and crayon. Below are some of the shape mashup and shape castle works from the past weeks.
