Harmony Day

Thank you to Bu Webster and Ms Michielin for organising a great day of celebration to mark Harmony Day at CHPS. It was wonderful to see many students wearing clothes that represented their own cultural background, or a splash of orange to celebrate the diversity within our community, and the richness this brings to all of our lives.

Grandparents Day

Thank you to all the grandparents or special friends who visited our prep students at school last Wednesday! We know the students loved showing you around the playground, and classroom and sharing their wonderful work with you. We hope all who attended enjoyed the afternoon.

Prep Police Visit

The preps had a blast this morning with the Police.  They were able to check out their vehicles and learn about community safety and how to stay safe.

Our Mural Is Coming Along

Our new mural to represent kindness and friendship (on the side of the year 1 classrooms) is in progress and we cannot wait to see the final product! 

Year 1 Swimming

We are so proud of our year 1 students that have begun their swimming program this week. They have been absolute superstars so far! Year 1 parents can expect some very tired kids by the end of the week  🙂

Parents in the Yard - Morning

A reminder that when school begins at 9am, parents that are staying on site (e.g. as a parent helper in the classroom) need to sign in at the office. Otherwise, we ask that all parents exit the school grounds shortly after 9am. The gates will be closed around 9.10am. Thank you for your understanding.

Whole School Assembly - End of Term 1

Hard to believe we are at the end of our first term already! Parents are warmly invited to attend our last day of term assembly, which will begin at 12:50 in the stadium (with dismissal at 1:30pm).
