Principal's Message

Mrs Ameera Hassanein

Welcome back to Term 2! I hope everyone had a relaxing break over the holidays and the long weekend, and is feeling refreshed and ready for a successful term ahead.

Earlier this term, we held our whole-school Curriculum Day on Tuesday, 22nd April. Our teachers focused on Pedagogy 2.0, collaborating to strengthen the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, with the aim of improving student outcomes across the school. This learning will continue throughout the year.

We also have a number of exciting events coming up this term to celebrate student achievements and encourage parent engagement. Please keep an eye on Compass and upcoming newsletters for further details.

As part of our celebrations, we are seeking parent volunteers for our Mother's and Others' Day event. If you are available to assist on Friday, 9th May from 11:10 a.m. onwards, please contact the school to let us know. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

I love when students share their amazing work with me. Today, I had the pleasure of seeing some incredible real-life ART drawings from our 3/4C students. A big thank you to Mrs. Webb for sharing these fantastic pieces!

Reminder Parking-  We want to kindly remind everyone to park safely in front of the school. Please be sure not to block our crossing guard's visibility, as they play a vital role in keeping our children safe during drop-off and pick-up times.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our school community safe!

Reminder Attendance- EVERY DAY COUNTS

The new school start time this year is 8:35 AM. We are committed to providing our students with a great education, and the foundation for this starts with students attending school every day.

There is no safe number of days for missing school—each day a student misses puts them behind and impacts their educational outcomes.

School starts at 8:35 AM and finishes at 3:00 PM each day.

Enrolments /School Tours

School tours are open every Thursday morning at 10am. If your child is attending 4-year-old kindergarten this year and will be starting school next year, please note that enrolment at the school is required. This process does not happen automatically, so we kindly ask that you come to the office to complete the enrolment.
