Prep – Grade 2 Sports Day:
A big well done to all our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students who took part in the Sports Day last week. The day was set to give our junior students a challenge, but we weren’t expecting that in the form of rain. Nothing can deter our students and staff and after moving the event indoors, everyone had a terrific time and tried their best for their house. It was great to see the level of cheering and support everyone gave to each other too.
Well done to all the staff who helped run the day but an especially big shout out to Terrie for organising and running the event.
State Hot Shots Tennis:
Congratulations to our boys who went to Melbourne last week and took on the tough competition at the State Hot Shots Tennis competition. There was some tough competition and our teams showed grit and enthusiasm throughout the whole day. Well done boys!
Thank you to the parents and siblings who came along to support the team. Thank you also to Bernie and Georgie for taking the team down.
What to bring to P.E.:
Just a reminder for all students to bring with them their P.E. shoes, drink bottle (and hats in Term 1+4) to their P.E. classes. A different pair of sports shoes need to be brought to P.E. as per the uniform policy. This allows us to keep safe, look after our gym and make the most of our lessons together. Thanks to everyone who continues to remember these.
