Grade 3/4 Full STEAM Ahead Incursion

Our Grade 3/4 students had a fantastic time at the Full STEAM Ahead Forces incursion held on Thursday 20th November in the school gym. The session was packed with hands-on learning, creative problem-solving, and plenty of excitement as students explored the fascinating world of physical forces.

Throughout the day, students experimented with electricity, magnetism, gravity, friction, wind energy and more. They were fully engaged as they observed these forces in action and discovered how they influence movement in everyday life.

A highlight of the incursion was the engineering design challenge, where students designed, built, tested and refined their own Lego race cars. Working collaboratively, they adapted their designs, tackled fun challenges, and celebrated their achievements as their cars improved with each trial.

It was a wonderful learning experience, and we are so proud of the enthusiasm, curiosity and teamwork shown by all students!
