St. Kilda FC Player Visit

Leongatha PS were lucky enough to have five St. Kilda AFL men's team players come to visit our students. Grade 2s, 3s and 4s had the opportunity to ask them questions and listen to them talk about life as an elite athlete. They discussed their careers and career stats, difficult opponents they have matched up against, their diet before games, the amount of training they do and a lot more. It was incredibly insightful and interesting to hear their stories. Some students brought in St Kilda merchandise or made their own St Kilda posters which the players were happy to sign for them. 

We thank the St Kilda FC for giving our students this wonderful opportunity to meet stars of the game and to inspire our students to maybe one day be future stars of the game themselves.
