World Expo

Students in Grade 5 and 6 are hurriedly, and excitedly putting the finishing touches to their World Expo displays over the next week or so. 

The World Expo will be open to all at DPS on Tuesday the 25th of June. Throughout the day, classes from all over the school will visit the expo and aim to get all of the passport stamps!

Parents and friends will be able to visit the expo between 3pm and 4pm. We all look forward to seeing you there.

Donvale Preschool Visit

The year 5 students from 5/6C & 5/6R braved the wintery conditions on Tuesday, and walked to Donvale Preschool. They shared stories with their kinder friends and enjoyed playing in the kinder  with them. We are looking forward to visiting our new kinder friends again next term. 

Doncaster Secondary Visit

Next Tuesday the 18th of June, all students in Grade 5 and 6, are heading to Doncaster Secondary College, to participate in a number of activities that will be run by high school teachers.

Students will be travelling by bus, and the aim is to give a bit of an insight to the students about the differences between primary and high school. Things such as moving from one classroom to another, depending on what class is being taught, and finding your way around a new campus, will certainly be eye opening for some of our students.

An exciting day awaits!
